Heading up the team is Terri Slater, an award winning veteran of the marketing and public relations industry and former executive from PR giant Hill and Knowlton, Inc. Terri provides a full array of publicity, marketing and writing services geared towards food, health, fitness, nutrition, consumer products, and non-profit organizations. In addition to being an independent PR practitioner for the past 15 years, Terri’s public relations and marketing expertise was gained through senior level positions held at Hill and Knowlton and Rogers Communications Inc., both in the Boston area.

Natalie Mikolich is a talented publicist who specializes in handling media relations in the areas of sports, fitness, professional athletes, events and luxury brand companies.
Natalie has represented a number of well-known professional athletes, including former WTA world #1 tennis player Justine Henin, ATP world #1 doubles team Mike and Bob Bryan, and ATP player Robby Ginepri.
Sarah Ann Slater, Account Executive

Sarah Ann
As an account executive, Sarah Ann Slater is responsible for performing various duties in support of managing client accounts, including communications, writing, media database development, report generation and media coverage tracking. Sarah Ann is a recent graduate of University of Miami where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Business, magna cum laude. She is presently attending London School of Economics where she plans to complete her Masters degree. A completive Junior and Collegiate tennis player, Sarah Ann interned for international sports management giant, IMG where she was responsible for event management for clients at the SONY Ericsson tennis tournament in Miami.
Richard Crouse, VP Content Management

Richard
Richard Crouse is a versatile writer, graphic artist, website designer and Content Manager. As webmaster for clients in the food, health and nutrition industries, Richard authors content and designs and manages blogs, e-newsletters, and SEO (and occasionally serves as ghostwriter for bylined published articles). Richard has worked as a consultant writer and website designer for the past ten years, a career path he entered after twenty years as an IBM product development engineer.
Keith Gallant, Social Media Partner

Keith Gallant is a social media expert and partner of Slater PR. Keith helps clients promote brand awareness through Twitter, Facebook and other social websites and technologies. By creating engaging conversations between customers, partners, and other interested parties, Keith skillfully leverages the power of viral marketing to attract new customers and boost sales.
Keith has created successful social media and public relations programs for a variety of national food, health and wellness brands, including Sugar In The Raw, Butter Buds and Sweet’N Low. He has been involved in corporate communications and brand development since his early days at Burrelle’s, a national media service company where he served as Director of “NewsExpress,” a same-day press clipping service that predated Google and other modern news monitoring services. Well known Boston social media expert and founder of the social media consulting company, Fresh Ground, Todd Van Hoosear is Slater PR’s social media partner.
Todd serves as a founding member and interim director of the Social Media Club; was recognized as a 2009 Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research; and sits on the IABC’s Social Media Release Working Group — ensuring that PR and marketing are well-represented in social media efforts. Todd’s technology background ensured that he was an early social media and Web 2.0 adopter, launching his first blog in 2004.
Dana James, MS, CN, CNS, AADP, Nutrition Spokesperson (New York)

Dana
Dana James is a triple board certified nutritionist and well known expert on weight loss and nutrition. Dana’s reputation as a top nutritionist has led television producers and feature writers to seek out her expertise. Dana frequently appears on WPIX News for segments related to health and nutrition and recently completed a series of programs for an Asian TV channel “Healthy Wealthy & Wise.” She is also the founder and director of the Food Coach NYC, a nutrition consultancy practice in Manhattan that speciales in nutrition for weight loss, digestive disorders, food sensitivities, anti-aging, adrenal fatigue and depression.
Dana holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and graduated summa cum laude from London’s most prestigious nutrition institute, the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Dana also holds a Bachelor in Economics and in Finance. Dana is New York State Registered Nutritionist and a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), American College of Nutrition (ACN), American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and the British Association of Nutritional Therapy (BANT).
Ginny Erwin, MS, RD, CPT, Nutrition Spokesperson (South Florida)

Ginny Erwin, R.D. is a nutrition educator and personal fitness trainer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science and Dietetics, and a Master’s in Nutrition Communications and Marketing.
Ginny is an expert on-air health and fitness spokesperson and has made numerous television appearances in Chicago and South Florida regional television markets. She has also written nutrition and fitness articles for local and national publications, including the Chicago Tribune and On-Health magazine. She currently writes a weekly syndicated wellness and lifestyle column called “Food Wise.”

Janel Ovrut, MS, RD, Nutrition Spokesperson (Boston)

Janel
Janel Ovrut is a registered dietitian who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Syracuse University, and a Master’s in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University. She currently works in corporate wellness where she develops wellness programs for large companies, provides nutrition counseling for employees, and gives nutrition presentations relevant to a working professional’s busy life.
A frequent speaker and lecturer, Janel has been quoted in media including SHAPE, Prevention, Today’s Dietitian, Chicago Tribune, FITNESS Magazine and has spoken at events such as the Healthy Living Summit, Massachusetts Dietetic Association’s Media Day, and the POM Wonderful Blogger Harvest Tour. She writes articles about healthy eating and the benefits of pomegranates for POM Wonderful and is a regular contributor to the Food Network’s Healthy Eats blog. In addition, she authors articles about family nutrition for SuperKidsNutrition.com, and keeps her own food and nutrition blog at EatWellWithJanelBlog.com.
She has served as the State Professional Recruitment Coordinator and Membership Chair of the Massachusetts Dietetic Association, and is a recipient of the Massachusetts Dietetic Association’s Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award.
Teddy Slater, VP Mascot Development

Teddybones
Teddy Slater (a k a Teddybones, Teddy with a Tail, The Ted-n-ator) joined Slater PR in 2005 as an entry level mascot. Since then, Teddy has progressed through numerous positions of increasing responsibility.
In his current role as VP MD, Teddy’s primary duties include maximizing shareholder value in “Pup-PeroniĀ®” stock, nonstop monitoring of sister-cat “Baby’s” every move, hitting weewee mats with an accuracy range in the upper 70 percentile, and staying waaaaay too cute.
