Tradeshow Support

Industry events, trade shows and conferences provide an excellent venue for getting in front of the media to tell your story. Each year the media flock to major events as a way to get the latest news and updates on happenings in their business. Whether it’s the Fancy Food Show and Food Fete media events in New York and San Francisco, Natural Products Expo in Anaheim and Boston, or media-only events in New York tailored to food, health, wellness and consumer products, Slater PR has you covered. We routinely attend these and other events on behalf of our clients, working in advance to engage media who will be attending in order to arrange meetings or otherwise ensure contact between them and our clients.

The benefit to you is that you are already there and your presence is only enhanced with the media opportunities and coverage received by face to face exchanges with the press. For example, recent attendance at a food media-only event for one client resulted in coverage within one month in Ladies Home Journal, Health magazine and The Nibble food blog — coverage that may not have been received so quickly had they not mingled with the media.

Suffice to say we get aggressive at these events — before, during, and after and have been known to chase down TV producers and reporters on-site in an effort to get press coverage for our clients. Among the outreach conducted in conjunction with events are:
